Our Graduate Stories

"The IGO Graduate Program has been my first experience of health and safety work in the mining industry and has given me a fantastic foundation for my career.

Additionally, IGO's mining of resources for battery storage technologies makes me feel proud to be part of a company that is committed to working towards a sustainable and green future."

Our Vacation Student Stories

“I have thoroughly enjoyed the IGO Vacation Program. Throughout the program I had the opportunity to apply what I have been learning in my studies, as well as gain practical hands-on experience and insights into the everyday work of an exploration geologist.

One of the best parts of the experience has been the team I’ve worked with, whose dedication to their work has only been outweighed by the fun they have while doing it.

I would recommend IGO’s Vacation Program to any university student looking to gain experience with a company that is supportive and dynamic.”

Our Graduate Stories

"The IGO Graduate Program has provided me with a diverse range of invaluable site-based skills over the last 2 years – largely thanks to IGO’s focus on the rotational aspect of the program.

It is incredibly rewarding as a Graduate Mining Engineer to work for a company that is not only driven by a green energy future, but validates this purpose by investing in relevant operations that drive lithium-ion battery technology.

I consider myself very lucky to have been employed by IGO and would encourage anyone interested in making a difference within the resources sector to join the team!"
